Comfy homes start with warm floors
Floor Heating Systems began in 1999 as one person, a Hilux ute and a set of tools. We work in construction as electricians on residential and commercial jobs of every kind. Our owner has been doing this work for more than 40 years.
We started with underfloor heating in new homes and renovations. Then builders and customers began asking for heated floors in offices, apartments, hotels and other commercial buildings. Today we supply electric underfloor heating for all of them and arrange the installation. Heating cables, heating mats and our thermostats go to customers anywhere in Australia.
We start every job by looking at your plans and measuring the heating areas. The cable size and the materials quote come from that measurement. If you want the installation arranged as well, a second quote covers that. The floor needs to be prepared, and any waterproofing done by your own trades, before we arrive. Once the area is ready we agree a day and the contractor carries out the work.

We measure the heating areas from your floor plans and calculate the heating cable to suit, rather than guessing from the size of the room.
A thermostat to suit you
We supply our thermostats as well, and the contractor fits them with the heating. There are several models to choose from, and most customers choose the touch screen model with Wi-Fi control.
Checked before anyone goes
A cable monitor stays on the job while the work is done. The finished system is tested with the contractor's equipment before anyone packs up.
