Our cable monitor (Screamer) constantly monitors your electric floor heating cable during insulation. It is compatible with all types of floor heating mats and cables.
How it works
It works by conducting real-time testing of the floor heating cable.
If the cable insulation or the resistance wire is damaged, the cable monitor will immediately sound an alarm. This will allow the installer to easily repair the cable BEFORE the heating system is encased by the floor covering, avoiding costly repairs in the future.
What do the lights mean?
A white light remains lit if the system is working correctly.
A red warning light (with an alarm noise) will immediately light up cable damage is detected.
How does it connect
There are 3 clips which attach to the heating cable - live, neutral, and earth. The on/off switch powers the device.
